Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), launched in May 2022, is part of the UK government’s plan to decarbonise heating in buildings. It provides upfront grants to incentivise homeowners and businesses in England and Wales to replace old fossil fuel boilers with low-carbon alternatives. The BUS is open to homeowners and some non-domestic properties in England and Wales.
